Cost Information
National Dues: $85/year (paid when registering)
Pack Dues: $265/year (paid to pack)
Pack dues cover pack t-shirt, neckerchief, pinewood derby car, awards, meals on the overnight campouts (for the entire family), pack trailer, insurance, and training.
Scouts will also need a uniform shirt ($33), belt ($15), handbook ($24), and camping equipment. Scouting items can be purchased at the Capital Area Council Scout Shop off I-35.
We strive to make scouting affordable to everyone. All costs can be covered by the popcorn fundraiser that we do from September to October, and we also have a library of uniforms and camping equipment that can be borrowed.
